I was approached by Ports V– a unisex sub-label from Ports 1961 to produce a range of social media content pieces to coincide with the launch the brand.
Using the information that Farfetch had given me alongside a set of key messages they wanted to integrate into the animation, I created a 16 page comprehensive deck detailing the concept, creative direction and a storyboard of the proposed animation. After winning the pitch, I produced the entire animation from scratch, using some BTS campaign imagery that Farfetch had provided. I also requested some exclusive trainers to be sent to my studio where I shot them and used them as a stop motion technique and integrated them into the animation.
1- storyboard each section of the animation. 2- work through each storyboard in Adobe After Effects. 3- take photos of each requested trainer in different angles to produce a stop motion loop. 4- integrate into animation 5- complete version 1 of animation and await feedback 6- Make minor adjustments to animation according to feedback and re-submit. 7- project signed completed, delivered and signed off.

The client was extremely happy with the animation and commended me on the turnaround time on the project. My animation was playing on a constant loop in throughout the pop up space during the festival, with hundreds of people attending the event. Seeing my animation in the background of some of people I follow’s Instagram posts was particularly rewarding.
