Client: MULBERRY

(Excerpt taken from Wikipedia) Mulberry is a luxury fashion company founded in the United Kingdom in 1971, known internationally for its leather goods. The company was founded in 1971 by Roger Saul and his mother Joan, and in 1973 they opened a factory in Chilcompton, Somerset, England.

Project brief:

Mulberry had curated an exhibition space on Regent Street, London and filled it with various art installations. The space was open to the public with the purpose of creating brand awareness and the promotion of their new store next to the exhibition space. Mulberry wanted visual assets produced to promote the event, including capturing of their fly posters, street projections and the installations in the space themselves.

My involvement:

I proposed a series of visual assets for each day of shooting. For each day, the turnaround time was very tight as the assets had to be ready to post by Mulberry the next morning. I shot each visual asset using stop-motion, and sat down with the team whilst editing and delivering.

Process

1) Present ideas and propose capture methods 2) Mulberry chooses preferred method 3) plan equipment list needed for the shoot 4) Meet up with the Mulberry team on the day, spend an hour to two hours capturing the features 5) sit with Mulberry team to choose assets to go into edit 6) Grade the photos 7) compile the images into a stop motion animation 8) Export animation and deliver.

RESULT

The client was very pleased with the creativity shown within these animations and how they all came together. The feedback was mainly preference such as changing of certain fonts and poses etc. The visual assets were promoted across all of Kitsunè’s social media channels, crediting me in each post.

RESULT
